Last week I took Chris a senior from Slater High School’s, senior pictures. He was not real excited about taking pictures, but we had a good time going around Marshall MO capturing his personality. His mom, little brother, and my mom were all there with us. I asked mom to tag along to hold the reflector. Everything went well until we were done, unfortunately it had rained the night before and there was a big puddle of water at the skate park. Needless to say I didn’t see the puddle and fell right on my behind! On a positive note the pictures turned out great!

Dee’s Senior Pictures

Dee was a fantastic senior from Slater High School to take pictures of. We spent the afternoon going around Slater MO, finding the perfect places to take pictures. With the help of his “mom” Roxane and “brother” Cody, we were able to get perfect lighting and get lots of great images of Dee, Cody was even in a few! Thanks for your help Roxane and Cody!

Q-Flash. Assignment #5

Q-Flash. Assignment #5

For my Advanced Portrait Class there was an assignment to use a Q-Flash or Alien Bee Kit to go on location and take pictures. Emily, one of my brothers of Phi Sigma Pi, was kind enough to be my model. I didn’t want to stay in Warrensburg to take the pictures and Emily was up for anything! So we went to Holden MO, luckily my Aunt is from there and gave me some ideas of places to take pictures. Also I can’t forget about one of my future roommates Sarah who tagged along to help hold the light! Thanks a lot!
